Our story

My name is Justin and I have created this site to showcase and “sell” the products from my 3D printing designs. I use “sell” because 100% of the revenue generated will be directly donated to our PAWS Chicago Gofundme. I want to make sure our cat and dog friends (I grew up with cats too) have some human beings treat them with all the love, compassion and care their little hearts can handle! Also, be spay and neutered. Yes, definitely that too.

I have been designing and printing for a few years which has brought me loads of fun! I learned this technique to take over designing and printing responsibilities at our neuroscience laboratory in Chicago. I grew up around dogs all my life and cannot imagine my life without one. Cody’s companionship has been life affirming and given me plenty of reasons to head outside, even on days when I would much rather stay in. Chicago winters are sometimes less than desirable.

I was on a 2017 summer family vacation in Los Angeles when we were rear ended by a semi truck. Fortunately, no one else in the car was physically hurt but my injury fundamentally and permanently changed my life even as time has flown by. I still, and probable always will, struggle to some degree with mourning the loss of my able body and learning my post accident body. I now believe that sometimes the best things in life are the most unexpected … enter my service animal Cody! He is my furry little life companion and l feel like he is an extension of myself. The picture to the right means a lot because A) its a person sharing a private walk with his best friend and B) my 12 yr old son captured this moment.
